Classical Music Production
Classical music production is about finding the right balance between musical understanding and technical craft, in service of the performance, the space, and the score. I focus on shaping that balance with experience and passion.
Live Sound Reinforcement
Live sound reinforcement is more than amplification. At the mixing position, one is in the unique position to be part of the performance as well as part of the audience. With both technical and musical expertise it is the goal to bring the two together, to synchronise the breathing.
Light and Stage Design
The continuation of the musical score in the realm of space and light. Sometimes an amplification of the same, sometimes a counterpoint. Intimate versus lager than life. Warm versus cold. Pleasant versus edgy.
Production and Arrangement
The chorus needs a string section? The bridge is too short? Or do you have a carcass of a new song that you want to unleash with the sound of the whole instrumentation and a choir? Whatever the song screams for…
Sound Design and Installation
Soundscape for a performance: dead silence, deafening thunder, eery tension, cathartic release. Whatever helps tell the story.
Soundscape as a performance: Sometimes i stumble upon a sound so exiting that i feel it tells its own story. All it needs is a space to be told in.
